If you would like to make a team to run in September, or would like to share at work, in your area, in your gym or other setting, please feel free to share this flyer.

We will be sharing this when we join Active Parks at this weekend's Vaisakhi celebrations in the park. We will also be hitting the streets to spread the message to the areas surrounding Handsworth Park.

The more the merrier though. Anyone who can share our event to charity runners, fun runners and new runners who would be interested in signing up for the race, please do. It will all help to create a happy, successful event this year and raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

There are many ways to get behind us and support the Pete Hayes Handsworth 10k Fun Run 2014.
You may wish to enter the run because you support the BHF, for Petah, for your local community, because you want a relaxed park run for a fitness goal or you want another local run to compete in. Whatever your reasons, we welcome you to join in.
You may know somebody who has some or one of these motivations. If you do, please let them know about our Fun Run.
This year we are getting started. We are a team of volunteers and we will need more to marshal and help get the run ready, organising people and clearing up on the day.
You may wish to support us on the day by being there to cheer on the runners.
You may wish to give to a good cause in the British Heart Foundation.
However you get involved, your support is vital to us and deeply appreciated.

One day in after launching the website and we have had an overwhelming response. Over 300 website hits and our first fantastic entrants to the run this year.

Today we launched the website to get preparations begun for the run in 2014. We have already had our first few entrants straight away, thank you. A long way to go, just wanted to share a few things happening in Handsworth Park between now and the Pete Hayes Handsworth Park 10k in September.

We will be in Handsworth Park this Saturday for the Spring events day to give out leaflets for the running sessions we are starting in the park very soon.

We have had official confirmation of approval to hold the race on Sunday 14th September 2014 from Birmingham City Council. All systems are therefore go and all preparations are now being made to stage the event on this date.
